2 min readStar Plus is now all set to entertain its audience with a new venture titled Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha starring Fahmaan Khan, who will be seen portraying the character of Ranbir, while Sonakshi Batra will be essaying the character of Meghla. Meghla hails from Bengali background, whereas Ranbir is from Punjabi background.
Recently, the makers of the show Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha dropped an intriguing promo for the show, a blend of how these two individuals, Meghla and Ranbir, come from two different cultures and beliefs, Meghla who is a Bengali and Ranbir who is a Punjabi, and how these two personalities come together and what unfolds in their lives is going to keep the audience hooked on to their television screens. The promo depicts the clash of cultures between the Bajwa family and the Sen family, and with these two families with distinctive cultural backgrounds colliding, it is going to bring anticipation and intrigue among the audience.
Fahmaan Khan will be seen as Ranbir in the show Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha, who is a pilot and hails from a Punjabi background. This is his second collaboration with Star Plus, and just like you, we too are equally excited to watch him in action again. The actor has previously starred in shows like Imlie, Dharampatni, and Krishna Mohini, among others. Now with him portraying the character of a pilot, Fahmaan Khan is going to grab eyeballs, and we cannot wait for it.
Fahmaan Khan, aka Ranbir, from the Star Plus show Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha shares, “The promo is, and just as the title suggests, the show is about love and how two families come together, how two cultures are coming together. I am very excited and elated to be a part of the show. I am portraying the character of Ranbir, a pilot, and to get into it, it is a different ball game. I did in-depth research to gain a more authentic understanding of how aircraft are operated in order to make it more realistic. It has been a challenge yet captivating experience to portray the character of a Punjabi. It comes with its own quirks and qualities; it takes immense pride to portray such roles. It’s a challenge, and I am always excited to venture into some exciting. One takeaway would be that with every new project you have to commence fresh, it’s like playing cricket; no matter how many runs you make in the previous innings, you have to start from scratch. Fahmaan and Ranbir both are family-oriented, who take care of their family and try to stay calm in tense situations.”
Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha to air from 16th September at 7.20pm on Star Plus.
